The Cachorros (funded from Utrecht – the Netherlands)

is a foundation dedicated to give support to children and youngsters that are 6 to 16 years old and lived on the street. The institution gives them a safe shelter (bed), food, basic education, and develops the personality of each child with non violent games, to protect the minors. And little by little they decrease the amount of children in the street. With love and dedication, they teach them how to be responsible and gain trust.

SOS Kinderdörpfer

This organisation originates in Austria in the year 1949. 47 years later, activities for children in Peru have started. Since 2006 SOS Childrens Villages has activities in Ayacucho. You can read more on the international website of the organisation.

Project of dental care with Mamaya

In July 2007 Mamaya Peru coordinated the dental treatment of 300 children of the day care centers run by SOS Childrens Villages. They assisted in the practical organization on behalf of three Irish dentists who were visiting the city of Ayacucho.
